DYNAMIC ALLY (noun)

Definition: 
Every protagonist needs a best friend or helper who is going to stick around for the long haul. A character who represents the major ally / champion / partner-in-crime of the protagonist and helps to facilitate change in the protagonist.

Dynamic Ally Pictures is the Berlin-based production company of Veronica Priefer and Johannes Kunkel. Their focus is on the development, packaging and distribution of fictional, predominantly serialized TV formats for the German and international markets.

The two writers and producers got to know each other through the post-apocalyptic series “Helgoland 513”.
Since 2017, they have been developing and producing together exclusively for UFA Fiction.
In addition to “Helgoland 513" for Sky, they also created two seasons of the historical RTL+ series “The King of Palma”. Their Netflix comedy “Betonrausch” reached number 1 in the German Netflix charts.

The founding of DYNAMIC ALLY PICTURES in 2023 is the logical development of this successful collaboration.

Helgoland
